FLOOD PROTECTION PRODUCTS
Our flood protection products range from “on-property” items such as door, window and air brick covers to “off-property” solutions such as Rapidam and flip-up barriers.
It is important to note that “on-property” solutions are limited to protecting to a maximum flood height of 900mm. Unless your property has been certified by a qualified structural engineer you should not protect above this height on the standard UK building type.
“Off-property” solutions can overcome this as they can go up to 1.8m to 2m heights.
Similarly if your property is structurally sound solutions to protect to the full flood height are available in our portfolio.
Where possible we always seek to provide BSI Kitemarked products to the PAS1188 standard as this is the only standard acceptable to your insurers.
However this Kitemark only applies to products up to 900mm and there are no standards for full height solutions as yet.
Our range of barriers includes a number of solutions for listed properties and we have examples of installations on Grade I & Grade II listed homes.

FLOOD PROTECTION PRODUCTS
Rapidam
Rapidam is a rapid deployment dam suitable for addressing flash flooding and we believe would make a great addition to the emergency services solutions for protecting properties (rather than sandbags) and pumping them out. Local councils may also have an interest rather than stock piling sandbags and trying to deploy them. A 100m section of Rapidam can be deployed in 50 minutes by 4 men. How long would it take to do that to a height of 1m with sandbags?
Temporary Coffer Dams
Temporary Coffer Dams offer solutions for restricting water courses whilst repairs are made to weirs, river banks, sea walls, etc. We offer a hire service for these dams in the UK through our partner. This service includes full deployment and recover, maintenance during eth work period and full indemnity insurance. A much better option than a capital purchase for our customers we believe.
Concrete Canvas
An exciting and very versatile product. It sets under water, cannot be over watered and sets in 24 hours. Because it is, literally, concrete on a roll it can be laid on slopes (uniformly), used to create culverts, line river beds to prevent scour around bridges and parapets, as weed suppression, erosion control and so much more.
