During the floods of 2007 an important facility in Gloucestershire was nearly inundated by water and could have caused the biggest single evacuation of people from that area since World War II. Luckily the worst was avoided and the water was kept out of critical power and water supply stations. Since then the key services providers have been taking measures to prevent a re-occurrence of these events.
Many are building permanent bund walls around power and distribution plants and installing flood gates to allow pedestrian and vehicular access. All solutions that Revetment is able to provide through its partner channel.
